After graduating from Marmara University Faculty of Medicine in 2000, Dr. Selin Zehra Uçar started to work in the medical department of a pharmaceutical company in 2002. After working in the drug safety unit at Abbott and Abbvie Turkey, respectively, she served as the Regional Director responsible for the UK, Ireland and Spain and retired from corporate life in 2019.
During the pandemic period, she decided to pursue the goal she had dreamed of since graduating from medical school, and she completed Ministry of Health certified training in “Mesotherapy”, “Ozone Therapy” and “Cup Therapy”, which are within the scope of Traditional and Complementary Medicine. In addition, she has successfully completed training on botulinum toxin applications, filler treatments and tread lifting applications to complement clinical applications. Later, she started her master’s degree in Medical Aesthetics at the University di Camerino, one of the oldest and most established universities in Italy.
Dr. Uçar believes that the perception of beauty is as “growing older by being the most beautiful of your own age”, and therefore she launched her ‘Health and Beauty Center’ in 2022. Furthermore, she follows new developments and technologies and applies procedures within the scope of the concept of both healthy and beautiful aging in her clinic.
Defending that “beauty is not in the eyes of the beholder, but in the eyes of the “I” within us.”, Dr. Uçar continues to work to make her path.
